(05/12/02 - 722k) Reconfigured and supplemented version of
JTV 3.0 wip12.6, based on Russian version
(30/10/2000) from site JTVrus. The attempt
is made to join Russian and original versions, saving advantages
of each of them. The package is not customized on any definite
TV card, but is configured for installation under any of known,
including the procedure of correct connection of the remote
console unit (RCU). The localization into any language and
switching on it is possible too. Is checked out under Win9x/Me/NT/2k/XP.
The package contains, separately available, universal JTV.INI
files, tuned for English, Polish and Russian languages.
It is recommended to use them when errors while loading or
using JTV for appopriate language. There is also key bindings
KEYS.TXT file, tuned for
AVerMedia TVPhone98 w/VCR RCU. Brief rules of using and customization
the file are described in note.

for using. The possibility of incorrect customization
of language files and JTV configuration file, for selected
language, is minimazed. The optimal customization assumes
choice only one of possible languages, not including English.
However not all languages have a complete set of the translated
language units, therefore in the texts of dialog boxes there
can be those or other blanks, or wrong simbols.

sound control functions. Let's hope, that this old problem
at last is solved. Has developed, checked up and sent by Tolik
Gladkih. The author, however, has not signalled a detail
of the configuration in which the driver was tested. Send
responses.
As has signalled (06/13/01) by Mishunin,
the driver uses library calls btvid_32.dll, included in a
package of TV cards drivers for Win9x, that eliminates possibility
of usage it under Win2000 and/ or with WDM drivers.

to the first version of the driver author did not guarantee
its service capability with other cards. It was right! The
driver was not work with my card. After code rebuilding I
" have added support " of the Acorp card and a little interesting
features also. In brackets I put this phrase that is possible
also of any other card, and the word support is very loudly
told, as 2 lines there are modified. I think, that this version
of the driver will work on a tuner PV951 of any corporation.
But, as is spoken, on 100 % I do not guarantee."

Zelenkov. I quote: "... If owners of PV-951 had to
turn on sound by the separate program before, in the given
version is realized automatic turning on/off sound at JTV
start. It is necessary only that JTVRemote was loaded."
If I have understood correctly, in this version of drivers
is realized both distance control, and handle of a sound in
JTV. Compatibility with other cards of PV-951 series - under
a question. Who will check up - write.

(392k) BTRemote 2000 v.1.8. In this version the list of the
macroses is extended and the OSD mode is entered. It is pleasant,
that the author listens to wishes of the users. In particular,
in one of the new macroses the volume level adjustment, and
not only common, but also for each device of mixer control
unit separately, is realized. Among other useful commands
it is possible to mark possibility of task switching and windows
opening. As before, for creation of DLL-modules for national
languages it is possible to use one of localization packages
(workspace) under VC ++ 6.0 for English
(is included in the kit of the program on this site) or Russian
languages. The easy disappointment calls only reluctance (at
25.07.2000) of the author to enter into the distribution
kit on his site

of the Polish author (Jakub
Koralczyk), permitting to control objects Windows 9x (applications,
files, folders, documents etc.) with the help of remote-control
console from a TV cards package, or as is announced, through
other devices, for example COM-ports. Supports English, Polish
and Russian (itself translated!) languages. Allows, rather
easily, to translate the interface on any other language.
For creation of the appropriate language DLL-file it is possible
to use one of packages (workspace) under VC ++ 6.0 for the
English or Russian
languages. There is a wizard of an automatic tuning of TV
card (truth, mine TVPhone98 w/VCR has not identified) and
manual adjustment, built-in macroses. It is remarkable, that
the drivers of remotes from JTV 3.0
can be used! At any rate that formed within the project
JTVRemote suit precisely.
Certainly, there are also disadvantages (and where them are
not present?), but the program deserves notice. Suggestions
and remarks send, in English, to author.

Borg TV v.2.52. As against v.2.1, support of the greater number
of different video-cards, among other things, is similar provided.
In particular, it was possible to start this new version on
Diamond Stealth II S220, which has UYVY-code for DirectDraw
Overlay mode. The writer, by the way, maintains (in Help),
that the program will work only with video-cards having YUY2,
YUYV and YUNV-codes.

well as JTV, supports many interface languages and can be
easily localized in any
other. Shows heightened DirectX requirement to the videoadapter.
On Diamond Stealth II S220 it does not go. There is plugin

98.

I recommend to use it for icons creation when localizing the
JTV interface and logos of the 'Artwork' directory.

- excellent shareware download manager, allows to forget about
trouble for quality of link at obtaining large files. Can
support almost any language by means of connection appropriate
.dll file. Best in the class, I think. But also Go!Zilla
is not bad.

- excellent free graphics and multimedia files manager. Since
version 3.35 supports national languages interface. Supports
very much formats. Plug-ins
allow to add more formats and graphic filters. It happens
enough for simple processing of a graphics frequently. Best
