<--Dactyl, m.p. #243 Ida's satellite
The process of discovery and study of small planets proceeds continuously, the number of asteroids with well known orbits exceeds in present time 11000. The direct researches from space vehicles minor planets Ida, Matilda and Gaspra have detected a significant amount of craters on these celestial bodies and have confirmed the suppositions about a possibility of existence of asteroid’s satellites. The purpose of the present work is realization of a research of statistical and dynamic singularities of orbits asteroids, approached with the Earth (NEA) for clearing up of possible genetic connections as inside a population NEA, and between NEA and other dynamic groups.
Thus the following tasks were posed:
We take into account amount of fire-balls Prairie and European networks, orbit of which pass in immediate proximity from a cross point of orbits NEA. In result of our researches, evaluation of a character of intersections of orbits NEA is offered, and new classification themselves NEA can be offered.
In this connections, the orbits with most large elements variations has a particular interest. As a measure of elements variation we use the Southworth-Hawking criteria D. We plan to update this information automatically since 15 June 2000.
Each investigation of minor planet's dynamics need to consider evolution of orbits in time. Here we represent examples of Near Earth Asteroids orbital evolution .
