This image was taken on August 1996 under VENUS light. Yes, bright spot in front of the photo is Venus, not Moon. Also one can easily see large halo around Venus. Astronomers know Venus could even produce SHADOWS when near maximum magnitude. I used f=58mm, A=1/2 lens (Helios 44) at 30 sec exposure upon Fuji Super G 800 Plus film.
