From the 15th to the 17th centuries our cave several times was a good place for native people to hide from the enemies. In 1700 the cave was visited for the first time by the scientist Atralenberg. In 1770 the cave was explored by the scientist Lepechin.

In 1914 Alexander Timoffeevitch Chlebnikov became interested in the cave. He was the grandson of famous traveller Kirill Timofeevitch Chlebnikov.
