The territory near Kungur is
well-known as the region of classic carst. Only on the Ledyanaya mountain there is more
than three thousand craters. Some of them are coming right down to the Ledyanaya cave. But
of course most craters are not big. Looking at the Ledyanaya mountain from the high point,
the one might decide that it's the field after a big battle. When the spring comes some
craters get filled with water, but only few of them stay until the summer.
