New environment of object perception and about videoinstallation
The art of representation
accompanies the development of human society and varies together with it.
The universal formula of art determined even by the ancient Greeks, and
reduced to the statement, that art is mimesis, that is the imitating of
a reality, preserves its urgency until now. Nowadays this representation
is advanced by such concepts, as existention and conception, but its essence
remains invariable and eventually is reduced to the fact, that the person
realizes in the art his sensual perception.
It is obvious, that we already can speak about fine art as about an orchestra
with many musical tools, that is the exhibition of picturesqueness, shape,
together with contents is achieved by many means. Cinema has become a vanguard
among them for the 20-th century, because it gave a new capability to the
representation - development in time, and also such problem for uniqueness
of representational object as duplicating. Investigated in the beginning
of the 20-th century by Valter Benuamin this new environment, in which
all historical heritage of human art was immersed, undoubtedly has affected
the object perception in fine art, and many have realized a threat, existing
in this environment, to its uniqueness.
Meanwhile the
concept of "threat to the uniqueness" has bear the positive fruits, by
purging art from such error representation as ritualness, and has generated
such new exhibitions as pop-art, post-modernizm, installation etc.
For today it
becomes clear, that the use of traditional means for object representation
leads, at best, to asceticism of an exposition. With indisputable progress
in feeling of capabilities of traditional means by the artist on the one
hand, it is also indisputable rather indifferent perception of art object
by the spectator on the other hand. Of course the certain part of the spectators
perceives rules of the game, but it is only an individual exhibition of
special knowledge or hobbies, rather than universal perception. It has
become clear, that traditional kinds of creative work step over their frameworks,
and the artist should use new technologies.
A video-series
of the modern person, immersed in those capabilities, which are granted
to him by the modern society, his sensual world, in his tendency to realize
a certain transcendence, secret which is penetrating through our existence,
can acquire its expression in synthetic new, objects not similar on anything,
creating new environment, permitting to open the multi-layerness of perception.
Installations can become such objects creating presence of three-dimension
in three-dimension, with the constantly varying image on their surface.
The conception of creation of such objects consists in filling of any subject
by all space of our representation about the world, revealing of the "thing
in itself" towards to the person perceiving it, giving feeling of motion
in time not at the expense of abstract representation about it, but at
the expense of constantly varying externally static object.
Production technologies
of plane screens, used as a forming surface, give the capability of implementation
of such installations. This technology allows to create principally new
sculptural works and structures, both independent, and connected with design
and architecture.
The synthesis
of the videoimage and sculptural shape reveals a number of capabilities
of new submission and new sounding in conceptual, plastic and install fields.
Including such two opposite qualities, as uniqueness and duplicating, the
objects with the constantly varying image on a surface can become a new
edge in the infinite phenomenal world of reality reflection.
