The life goes and changes all around. Occur and leave problems,
version of the new and tested programs, and the habits remain.
What it I about? Again convinced, that JTV - most convenient
program for review TV on any Windows platform, including XP,
and once again has regretted, that this project (while) has
no continuation... Mishunin has sent the
new (second) version of the driver
of a remote control JTV for card Tekram M205 Pro.
Now it works under Windows 2000 at presence bt8x8 of WDM-drivers
from Ivan Uskov (www.iulab.com)
through IOCtrl.dll. In the new version of the driver the call
of functions is corrected, its size is reduced up to 9k (was
157k), it is optimized under Pentium and the values of delays
by default are changed. Besides the author has sent separate
utility for inclusion
of a sound. Miroslav Flesko has
released new - 1.8.0.2 version of the VHF/FM-RECEIVER Radiator. All components,
necessary for operation under any Windows version are included
in the distribution kit.
However problem with failure of FM initialization unsolved.
(I remind: the detour of a problem is given in a column "Remark,
that..."). 08/06/2001.Stanislav Selutin has
sent the modified package
of the files for operation JTV with a TV-tuner KW-TV878RF
(TV-878FBK) produced by KWorld
Computer Co., Ltd. The author has achieved normal operation
with the remote console, the parameters GPIO are taken from
the "original" KWorld driver.
Released
Windows Commander v 4.54.
As is usual, the version, customized for the russian users
is retrieved and laid out. Valery
Domozhirov has released the next version of the
scheduler JTV
Scheduler - 1.0.2.36. On my sight, all works perfectly,
except that the messages on the beginning of telecasts are
output in too small window, into which the description of
telecast does not get and the time of its beginning and ending
is not accurately mapped.
Due to some faults of obtaining TVGuide bases for JTV from
JTVrus site, the increasing interest can represent other author's
development - TV2JTV
(Russian only now). It is the program permitting, as declared,
independently generate TVGuide base from the weekly announcements
of telecasts accessible, for example, on russian sites
CityCat, Kulichki,
TVinNet and similar. 07/01/2001.
There is updated driver
and source for Acorp
3Demon PV-951 TF/T/C from Minaichenkov
Kirill.
It is compatible with Win2k/WinME/Win9x now. The current version
is beta. ValeriB
confirmed that remote of AverTV Studio Model 103
operates with driver Aver98vcr4
in JTVRemote and BTRemote under Win98SE fine. Thus, at last
for this TV card, suggested (01.01.01) method
of remote codes "repairing" is suitable.
There is information in my mailbox that similar special codes
have Leadtek WinFast TV2000. Interested in

Scheduler - 1.0.2.35. This program version has support
of English, Russian and Hungarian
(Magyar) languages and
is some bug fixed. Robert

of JTV wip12.6 language modules into Romanian.

Valery Domozhirov
has released the new version of the scheduler JTV
Scheduler - 1.0.2.33. The program has support
of national interface languages and can be valuably
used with an international JTV package now. The localization
is extreme simple and is accessible to any sophisticated user.
Besides the program can boot in tray when loading with the
key '/m ', though it would be more convenient, on my sight,
to add this option on bookmark 'Settings - In addition '.
The elementary quick help also would not hinder. For example,
though it is possible to guess, but it is not obvious, that
on bookmark 'Settings - Adjusting the channels' it is necessary
to assign to titles of channels the same numbers, as in the
window 'Tuning' in JTV.

The JTV
3.0 wip 12.6 pack was updated. Any cardinal changes
is not brought in: icons are corrected in the directory '
Languages, the driver of a remote control and .rcu file for
the card Tekram M205 Pro and some other is
added, the directory ' Artwork ' with logos of channels from
the site JTVrus is
added.
For creation and editing 16 colour icons with a transparent
background I have found old, but very convenient and compact
program IconEdit. I recommend
to use it for icons creation when localizing the JTV interface
and logos of the 'Artwork' directory. It
is announced about an output of the Windows Commander v 4.53.
As it is usual, was found and laid
out the version, adjusted for the russian customers.

Domozhirov is announced about an output of the
new version - 1.0.1.7.
Is pleasant, that the author quickly reacts to the revealed
mistakes. Still russian version available here.
06/09/2001.Tolik Gladkih has sent
the JTV remote control driver
for TV card Tekram M205 Pro with implemented
sound control. May be this old problem solved at all. But
tested configuration is unknown. Send remarks.

solution for turning-on sound in JTV for TV card Tekram
M205 Pro is offered by Mishunin:
"I solved sound problem at "hardware"
level. I got sound from the last (farest from rear side) Philips
tuner pin, before bT878 chip. By the way, sound have much
more quality."

of JTV wip12.6 language modules into Hungarian
(Magyar) language, and also the modified table of symbols
for the teletext. Translation is very good and full. It is
pleasant, that despite of many defects, JTV is popular not
only in Russia. The Hungarian and Bulgarian language modules
are included in JTV
3.0 wip 12.6 pack.
Read in conferences, that many users complain of appeared
autorepetition of remote buttons when work with JTVremote
in JTV. As to me, the similar situation arises, if at loaded
JTVremote start using bRadio Pro 2.0, then unload it and load
JTV. If to be loaded from the keyboard all works normally;
after the first pressing any remote button autorepetition
begins :)). If unload JTVremote and to load again, normal
work of the remote is restored. So and at Borg not all ÎÊ.
Has left new - 1.6.1.0. version UHF/FM-receiver Radiator
from Miroslav Flesko.
At last the enhanced range includes all frequencies 60-160
MHz. Now this remarkable program still has, in my opinion,
only two lacks: in the list of stations it is obviously not
enough 24 items for the enhanced range and an old problem
with failure of initialization when using TV cards on bT8x8
controllers. We shall wait for new version :-) 05/04/2001.
Has left new - 1.6.0.0. version of FM-receiver Radiator
from Miroslav Flesko
with the added plugin support, one of which is already written
by Ivan Uskov for bT8x8 compatible TV-cards. But expected
expansion of a range from 66 ÌHz is not present, and you see
the author promised... Has left new - 3.36 version IrfanView32
with support of national languages in the interface, and ...
site TVMania has again changed
design...
As to radioreception.
Should note, that the new program from Borg'à
- bRadio Pro 2.0 -
too is rather good, I began to use it pending new version
of Radiator. I even have corrected a file
of channels preinstallations, having added in it the Moscow
stations (which however constantly vary channels). In my opinion,
Radiator is more balanced from the point of view of convenience
of use, but bRadio Pro 2.0, at present, is executed more qualitatively.

the letter with source
(C++), apparently for JTV, and keys codes of a remote control
for card Tekram M205 Pro. Someone seems was
interested. The letter I spread, as has received, take and
make the driver, I have no this card, so can help only rather
is limited.

Krasi (BG Man) has sent
translation of JTV
wip12.6 language modules into Bulgarian language.
Translation not absolutely full (some .lng files are absent,
and in available files some messages not translated / are
absent), however it is possible to use. In the near future
translation will be included in the distribution kit.
04/06/2001.Nikolay Zelenkov has
sent the message: " I here have communicated with one
PV951 owner which starts JTV under Win2k. There was, that
neither the utility of sound management, nor a driver of the
board with sound auto on/off in JTV under this OS does not
work. Library PV951Utl.dll is intended only for Win9x/Me.
Under Win2k its functions are carried out by other library
- wdmI2cDll.dll, but calls of functions there it is little
bit others (at first sight). While it was possible to make
the utility under Win2k....
It will be necessary to make the driver too, but I do not
have installed Win 2000. Probably it is necessary while to
specify in the description to laid out... drivers and utilities
for PV951, that remote and a sound - only for Win9x/Me. And
with NT4 the question in general is not clear - as there all
will work? "

The interruption in upgrade of the site was called
by lack of free time, but now all behind. If the same small
interruption was for Jaak with upgrade JTV, all of us would
be happy. But alas, here any news is not present.:- (( However
there is other news. That of you who regularly looks on a
site Tuner already
know about, and for others I can say: the new program for
review TV - dTV
(deinterlaced TV) for Windows 9x/NT/Me/2k was showed which
can become most popular or itself, or as a basis for the new
project. I write it "was showed" because, it appears, there
is already long enough time (current working version - 2.1.1
on the site
and locally), but on
no one of subject sites for some reason was not mentioned.
This program, more precisely, open project is developing by
group of the authors,
where are invited
all wishing. The complete code
of the project is accessible. By screenshots,
the program has very developed possibilities of elimination
of "comb", but, naturally, at the expense of loading the processor
of the computer. Therefor the power enough system (Celeron/Pentium
III) and AGP video is recommended. As I can't start this program
yet due to absence of necessary powers of the computer, would
be interesting to receive responses from those to whom it
was possible. Unfortunately,
my level of programming does not allow adequately estimate
possibility of transformation dTV into new JTV, including
all advantages of each of the projects. However, as it seems,
such possibility is present, there would be a desire and time
for the programmers. As far as I remember, desire to have
the open project for finishing some times expressed, in particular,
by Russian programmers. Can be are organized, gentlemen? Further.
On a site dTV there was a link to one more interesting and
useful program - Girder
- The Ultimate Windows Automation Tool. Originally Girder
formed for InfraRed control channel, but from the version
3.0, it, as is announced, can work with any input devices.

Happy New Year, Century and Millenium!
December was marked for me by that my hard disk fell down
and some part of the information has disappeared, among which
there was almost all my correspondence! So, if it is necessary,
write again ; -)
In connection with interest of the users of TV-card AverTV
Studio to JTV and their desire to receive the
driver of the console for this card I can say the following.
The table of codes of
the console AverTV Studio, sent by Alex
Petrov, as the author fairly has marked, practically completely
coincides with the table for Aver TVPhone98 w/VCR
except for that, in the defined position of the register GPIO_DATA
instead of values "7" or "f" stand "6" or "e", for example
instead of 00857ff3
- 00856ff3.
It certainly, unimportant, but is important that thus the
own codes of unpushed (released) buttons are absent in general,
i.e. coincide with codes of pushed buttons of the console.
As I have TVPhone98 w/VCR, I have decided to try to imitate
a situation, has updated the JTVRemote
driver for the console of TV-card TVPhone98 w/VCR
and has detected, that if in the indicated position, for example
with the help Bt8x8RT,
to write values 0,2,4,6 (first bit of halfbyte is equal "0"),
my card behaves in accuracy as TV Studio - the changes of
codes at the released buttons are absent. Accordingly, record
1,3,5,7 (the first bit of halfbyte is equal "1") resets all
on a place - there are changes of codes at the released buttons.
I have tried to make so that the updated driver, at loading
JTVRemote, made the necessary changes of the register. It
works for me, it will be possible to work and with AverTV
Studio. Write me about.
