The Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Centre (JNCC) is an integral part of the Embassy of India, Moscow. It is sponsored by the Indian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR), New Delhi. It was established in 1989 to provide a fresh impetus to cultural relations between India and Russia. From a modest beginning, JNCC has continued to expand and diversify its activities and play a more active and meaningful role in the cultural life, not only of Moscow but also of several regions of Russia.

The objectives of JNCC are to
- establish, revive and strengthen cultural relations and mutual understanding between India and Russia - promote cultural exchanges with Russia.
