Bryansk Regional Public Organization "Erica" began functioning as a non-formal group in 1993. It was officially registered as a public organization December 21, 1994. In 1995 Erica entered the international organization "Social ecological Union"(SECU). At present Erica has 11 permanent employees, 29 active members and more than 300 specialists, who get assigned to different projects.

Sphere of interests:

• Distribution of information presenting public interest outside from political and commercial conjuncture;
• Ecological and civic education and enlightenment;
• Preservation of biological variety;
• Support of public initiatives and development of social activity of associations and targeted groups.

• Producing and distributing video materials via the network of non commercial video salons at educational institutions and cultural and educational establishments in Russia, transmitting them on local as well as on regional TV channels;
• Developing video resource center, active on territory of Russia, of ecological and civic content- based information;
• Enlisting video materials from Russian , foreign and international producers, dubbing them in Russian or any other Language the customer requests;
• Distributing video materials of ecological content for very minuscule prices!
• Producing and distributing information products on CD-ROM;
• Providing information services to hold Russian and International conferences;
• Involving population into preserving biological variety through growing wild plants in cultural environment and creating nursery gardens on the territory of Russia to grow quickly disappearing species of plants;
• Providing expert and consulting services on the strategy of development of Non Governmental Organizations (NGO);
• Developing Regional Information Center "Education".
