JTV 3.0 wip 12.6 packs (zip
and exe) are updated. Configurations of the equipment "FlyVideo
Generic" and "Aver VCR Generic" are added. Basis
of the first configuration is the same RCU driver, mentioned
before (04/30). By available tables
of codes of RCU buttons and to files of adjustment of the
equipment, this configuration should suit TV cards LifeView
FlyVideo 98/II, Genius Video Wonder
Pro II V2, Eline Vision TV Master
and similar. Basis
of the second configuration is the RCU driver
"Aver VCR Generic", that is updated driver Aver98_VCR
(AverTV), used before. This configuration should suit all
TV cards from AVerMedia, which have RCU buttons for VCR functions
(Record, Stop, Play, Pause). This is all AverTV Studio
models and Aver TVPhone(Capture)98 w/VCR.

The owners of TV cards built on controllers
SAA7130/7134 (LifeView FlyVideo 2000/2100/3000/3100, Chronos
Video Shuttle II, KWorld KW-TV878RF etc.), which becomes more
and more, can try the program Fly2000
(Russian language yet), created by Andrew
Zolotarev. I can not try it myself, however screenshots
represented on a site Tuner
looks very nice. Keep in
mind, that many models of TV cards are released as with the
controller Philips SAA7130/7134, and Conexant Bt878 now. For
a chip type definition of the controller use bT8x8
ChipCheck.
It is created and laid out the next RCU JTVRemote driver
for a TV card FlyVideo98. The table of codes
has sent by Vicol Patrick.
It is supposed, that this driver should suit many others FlyVideo
compatible models, therefore it is called "FlyVideo Generic".
The clones of TV cards breed as the mouses. Recently like
has found out JetWay
- the clone of KWorld,
and now has appeared is also WayJet.
Probably, other words was not found...

has sent translation
of JTV 3.0 wip12.6 language modules into
Spanish. Some items not translated. The modules are included
in updated JTV 3.0 wip 12.6 packs (zip and exe).

On the site RC4WA
there was updated program BtTest 2 (BtTest2d),
where added saving data to file. Old version was deleted from
the site.
The page People's vote is created.
The wide system of interrogation and votings for the owners
of TV/FM cards will be gradually developed there. That is
why column "Remark, that.."
is displaced on page "Notes",
and instead of it the column "People's
vote" has appeared. Everyone
wishing can send on the address of the site the addition of
choise variants for any of votings, or suggestions on creation
of new voting. When preparation of the suggestions, give complete
and clear, not accepting of various interpretation, information.

On the site RC4WA
there was updated same named program and program BtTest
2 (BtTest2c),
where added value of the register I2CAddress.
From now, it is most conveniently to use this program for
all operations while TV cards tuning. Old version was deleted
from the site.
The packages JTV 3.0 wip 12.6 (zip and exe)
was refreshed. Some cosmetic updates and additions was made,
bugs in configurations files was corrected and installer was
updated.

On the site RC4WA
there was one more very useful program - BtTest 2.
As well as btTool v5, it allows to get codes
of the main registers of TV-cards based on bt8x8 controllers
and can be used when cards customization and creation of RCU
drivers. It works with all versions of Windows. Short of disadvantage
absence of value of the register I2CAddress,
it is very convenient. Especially
pleasantly is that, the creation of the description for a
TV-card and RCU is combined with input of codes of RCU buttons
in the same window of the program, and the text, done in result,
can be edited or rewrited at any moment. The version BtTest
2j with added for JTV and JTVRemote description is placed
on the site. While compilation of the table for codes of RCU
buttons, it is most conveniently to use this program.
02/19/2002.Valery Domozhirov has
released the next version of the TVGuide convertor TV2JTV
- 1.0.3.55. The error originating when selection of the coding
of the teleprogram is corrected . Bezborotko Michael has
sent the package of files
for operation JTV and JTVRemote with a TV-tuner KW-TV878-FBKM
from KWorld Computer Co., Ltd. It is not clearly, whether
it is the driver for a new model, or for the same, about which
was informed earlier, in news from 08/06/2001. All of us have
very few free time, it is clear, but all the same, please,
send more detailed information and table of codes of RCU buttons
together with your developments.
The interesting
site devoted to the program RC4WA,
intended for a distance control WinAmp through RCU from bT8õ8
compatible TV-cards was found. There is even the reference
to plug-un,
permitting to transform WinAmp into the program for video
viewing. The people work...

The notesCustomization
of a New TV-card and Tuners
are updated. The guidelines are added at the choice of variant
of the tuner configuration at customization JTV and other
additions.
The RCU driver for TV-card
Eline Vision
TVMaster is created and laid out. Key codes was sent by
Emma. While engineering,
it was found out, that this driver should be suit also for
Genuis Video Wonder Pro II V2/FM and other
FlyVideo98 compatible models. Errors in the
earlier created drivers for these cards were detected simultaneously.
It has
appeared, it was missed that two codes (0x48 and 0xc8) of
buttons repeats, are bound to two different RCU buttons (ChannelUp
- Left and ChannelDown - Empty) each and, accordingly, to
two different commands in drivers (Key_ChannelUp - Key_Left
and Key_ChannelDown - Key_Empty) each. It result ined illegibilities
of actuation of the console. It would
be desirable to receive the information from the owners of
the indicated models about suitability of the new driver in
matching with old.

The note JTV 3.0 (12.6): Customization
of a New TV-card is published, where is
some info about customization of any new card, not supported
before. It is still calling questions from the users. Windows Commander v 5.0
released. As is usual, the version, customized for the russian
users is retrieved and laid
out.
01/20/2002.
For simplification of JTV installation, the setup variant
JTV3W126.EXE
is created. At its usage, the possibility of incorrect customization
of language files and JTV configuration file, for selected
language, is minimazed. The optimal customization assumes
choice only one of possible languages, not including English.
However not all languages have a complete set of the translated
language units, therefore in the texts of dialog boxes there
can be those or other blanks, or wrong simbols.
The package JTV3W126.
ZIP is accordingly refreshed. The fine corrections
and additions directed to compatibility with EXE package are
brought in.

Well, the New Year has come, and Christmas behind. I wish
to all happiness and prosperity. I remind eternal trues: nobody
envy, neither about anything do not regret, nor at anybody
do not take offence also nothing be afraid. As shows experience
of generations, the following to these simple rules makes
life much more joyfully and pleasantly...
The note JTV 3.0 (12.6): Commands
and Keys is published, where is some info about
usage customization of bindings both the key and buttons to
commands of JTV. Separate customization of channels parameters
in JTV, calling questions from the users there is considered.
The note JTV 3.0 (12.6): Tuners
is published, where the new name system of .tun-files JTV
is offered and the table of correspondence of these files
to TV-cards is placed. The table while is almost empty. I
invite all JTV users take part in its filling.
Borg continues to injoy community with new releases of the
programs. As to bTV Pro 2.0, I always have some reason problems
with this program, but bRadio
Pro 2.1 it is pleasant to me. It became quite compatible
with JTVRemote, any errors I do not notice. As well as JTV,
uses the own driver for operation with TV-card and works under
Win9x/ME/NT/2k/XP. There is a
list, customized for Moscow, of radio stations. Only why
the author strongly has limited application of the keyboard
for handle of the program - not clearly. It prevents valuable
usage of a remote control. From features of the distribution
kits it would be desirable to mark presence in them btTool
v5 - tool for review of values of the registers of
the chip BT848/878 in any Windows system. Other such utility
I do not know.
