Alternative (spectral) seismic prospecting (bases of the theory and practice)
Spectral - seismic profiling (SSP) is based on use new, unknown before physical effects, which essence in the following:
- Dependence between spectrum of seismic signal and a geological structure in a zone of shock represents:
, where
f0i - i- harmonious component of seismic signal;
Vtrn – transverse velocity;
hi – i- size, in particular, occurence depth of the appropriate boundary.
- Own harmonic fluctuations arise on transverse waves;
- The transverse velocityVtrn in rocks is size practically a constant, no more, than on 10 % distinguished from
2500 m/s
The SSP - section represents set of spectral images of seismic signal, that is, as a matter of fact, is the primary information undistorted by interpretation, and does not depend on any subjective moments. Thus, as against all known seismics, the SSP method is a source of the objective information which does not depend on any aprioristic data, including, from results of test boring.
- And, at last, the effect which has been found out already later, as a result of application of a SSP-method which consists that at presence of a tectonic disturbance, all column sedimentary the soils, taking place above this failure, is characterized by the increased microdisturbance. As have shown additional researches, a microdisturbance sedimentary soils in zones of tectonic disturbances it is so high, that soils are, actually, in a thixotropy condition. It is shown by that at drilling in a zone of tectonic disturbances the core recovery is practically equal to zero, and also lowered, and the main thing, bearing capacity of a ground decreasing in due course.
Discovery of this effect, on the one hand, allows to understand the reasons of many sudden destructions of engineering constructions, and with another, effectively to predict their destruction.
Realization of the metrologically proper spectral analysis of seismic signal became possible after creation the geophone, the electric signal on which output has a spectrum identical to a spectrum of an acoustic signal in a point of contact geophone with a ground.
The technique of realization spectral seismic profiling each time is corrected according to a decided
problem.
