01. Question: JTV, at reception with common home antenna, is not adjusted on some channels, though the TV set displays them and native TV-card software may displays it or not. What is the business?
02. Question: Is it for all AverTVPhone98 w/VCR the console such sickly? It does not work from walls for me and it is necessary to direct precisely in the receiver :( Can is it treated?
03. Question: At attempt to start JTV 3.0 wip 12.6 under Win98 there is a black screen and all. On Alt-F4 normal return in the system. What is the business?
04. Question: At usage JTV 3.0 wip 12.6, buttons of the remote console work wrong, or do not work in general. In the previous version all worked well. What is the business?

01. Answer: More probably all business is that the decimeter channels of a teleannouncement are converted in a grid of frequencies of ranges VHF1 (49,75-93,25 MHz) and VHF3 (175,25-223,25 MHz) incorrectly and even occupy a frequency range VHF2 between them. The tuner thus or at all does not scan the necessary frequency range or scans, but irregularly identifies the retrieved channel and is not adjusted.
In modern TV sets the range VHF3 frequently includes also frequencies of a range VHF2. They have the function of auto definition of the standard of an announcement PAL/SECAM and specialized controller, therefore there all is simple.
In software of different TV-cards sharing all frequency range on a part also is used: VHF1, VHF2+VHF3 and UHF - with 2 identifiers of boundaries between them, or VHF1, VHF2, VHF3 and UHF - c 3 identifiers. The "correct" identifier of boundary VHF1-VHF2   in conditions of Russia usually does not allow card to recognize the converted channels squeezed in a range VHF2.
Common probable solution of the problem - reconfigurate software so, that card perceived frequencies above range VHF1 as inherings to it (but not VHF2/VHF3 - as it would be possible to expect), that is usually made by upwarding bias frequency of the identifier for range VHF2. As possible solution for JTV in Russia use the corrected table of a tuner from the file secam2dk.zip.

02. Answer: Probably, together with a sensor signal on an input "Remote" of TV-card the strong signal of interference acts.The elementary variant - to suppress interferences, not suppressing, whenever possible, useful signal. The elementary filter - capacitor. Not pressing in details of the process of selection, take a small-sized ceramic capacitor the nominal 5000 - 10000 pF and connects it to contacts 2 - average contact and 3 - tank plug.
It can be made on the card, having soldered the capacitor immediately for the "Remote" plug circuit side. If to look at card circuit side that, from the right - to the left, first sealed-in - contact of the plug - tank (3), second sealed-in - power supply (1), third sealed-in - signal (2). On my card AverMedia TVPhone98 w/VCR I have put KM-5 6800 pF. If to judge under the observations of multimeter, the interference has not disappeared, but now TV-card completes pressing buttons of the console at 90-99% of cases.
If soldering the capacitor on card is undesirable, it is possible to make an adapter and to place the capacitor in it, or to use a standard T-junction and additional plug with the capacitor, placed in it, - effect will be same. More information see here.

03. Answer: Such problem usually happens at the first installation of the version 12.6. It is coupled that the file JTV.INI from archive not absolutely approaches to your configuration of equipment. It is recommended to use installation "from zero", which is realized in the modified JTV package or setup pack on the site JTVHost. Other way, you may use universal INI-files.

04. Answer: Such problem arises because in the version 12.6, the programs JTV and JTVRemote read out the information on equipment from different sections of the file JTV.INI. First reads section [Hardware_WinXX], and second - [Card1]. The first section is customized from within JTV from the menu of the configuration of equipment, and second remains as was, i.e. can not any more correspond to actual equipment. For solution of this problem it is necessary manually edit section [Card1] up to coincidence of parameters in both sections. But it is easier to use the procedure of customization, which is realized in the modified JTV package or setup pack on the site JTVHost. Other way, you may use universal INI-files.
